I would love to connect with other Southington area writers-I can't be the only writer here. Maybe form a writers' group that could meet at the library one evening a week to share writing, give feedback, discuss writing topics, have speakers come?
I write fiction and have had several short stories published. In December 2011 I finished my first novel (womens fiction). In January 2012, I began the arduous task of perfecting my synopsis, pitch, and query letter. Last October I (finally) signed with a literary agent! I was thrilled. I was getting a little worried; afraid I'd have to research the whole self-publishing thing...
I'd love to hear from anyone who wants to take their writing to the next level!
