Yoga for Youngsters/Tales & Tails with Mother Goose! at Imagine Nation Museum. Yoga for Youngsters on Friday & Tales & Tails with Mother Goose on Wednesdays in March for kids ages 2-4!

Read it and Sleep at the Charter Oak Cultural Center. Read It and Sleep is a free monthly event! Parents and their children can enjoy snacks, hear a bedtime story and take home a free a copy of the book read at the event.

Full Moon Hike at the Pratt Nature Center. Hike the lower fields at the Pratt Nature Center by the light of the full moon then warm up by the campfire with marshmallows! Don't forget your flashlights for this fun, free, outside activity perfect for the whole family.

Family Fun Tyme at Jump-n-Jammin - Bristol. Spend some quality time staying active with your family at Jump-n-Jammin in Bristol! You'll enjoy pizza, 2 hours of jumping, pg movies and drinks for one low price!

Art Start for Preschoolers at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Art Start For Preschoolers at the New Britain Museum of American Art helps caregivers and kids discover art together in the Museum galleries. Listen to a story and then explore line, shape, color, and other elements of art with Museum educators.

Animal Demonstrations at The Children's Museum in West Hartford Bring your kids to the Wildlife Sanctuary and the Main Exhibit Hall at the Children's Museum in West Hartford for live animal demonstrations!

The Annual Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade Come down to the parade route early and get your seat! The parade begins at Capitol Avenue by the State Capitol, takes a left on Main Street, a left on Asylum, a left on Ford Street, and then ends by the Memorial Arch. The parade is rain or shine.

Essex Go Bragh Irish Parade & Festival The Essex Go Bragh Irish parade will kick off at 10:30am at the Essex Town Hall to be followed by a Festival in Essex Village. Join us for a festive parade, horse drawn carriage rides, music, children's activities and more!!

Sugar Shack Open House at Sweet Wind Farm in East Hartland! Visit Sweet Wind Farm and watch us turn sap into golden maple syrup when we are boiling! Sugaring season is typically from mid February till the first week of April, but the weather can't always be predicted. Call ahead to see if we are boiling.

Kids Night Out at the New Britain Yourh Museum at Hungerford Park. Your kids will have a fun night at the New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park! Kids Night Out includes a delicious dinner, yummy snacks, animal encounters, crafts and MORE! Pre Registration is Required.

Shark Dive Observation at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. The Maritime Aquarium's dive team spends quality time with the sand tiger sharks, lemon shark and other creatures. Thanks to a cool communication link, you can even talk with the divers while they're in the exhibit with the sharks!

Open Play For Kids Aged 2 - 6 at Jump!Zone in Canton!  Your youngest kids can have fun safely at this special Open Play at Jump!Zone just for them! They'll have a ton of fun and you'll worry less knowing that big kids aren't allowed!

Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade! The largest single-day spectator event in the state of Connecticut, the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade, steps off at 1:30 p.m, on Sunday, March 16, 2014. It is a rich, family-oriented, cultural tradition.

Faery Tea Party & Children’s Fashion Show at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. You and your kids will have a lovely time at a Faery Tea Party followed by a Faery Fashion Show and ending with a special craft time creating treasure boxes and tissue paper flowers all at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London!

Open Cockpit Day & The Goodyear Blimp Car at the New England Air Museum. Kids will be able to climb into the cockpits of 12 vintage airplanes including two supersonic fighters, a Huey, the P-47 Thunderbolt, the Vintage DC-3! Hands on activities too! A special feature of the day: the Museum’s WWII Goodyear blimp car!
