Local Boys Organize Toy Collection for CT Childrens Hospital

Local boys, want to "pay it forward" this holiday season.

Shawn McKnerney, Matthew and Dylan Olson are organizing a toy drive to help children in the hospital during the holidays.

These children know what it is like to be in the hospital and would like to make the time that others are in there as easy as possible. Through their experience they know how hard it is and the “gifts” they received truly helped them during that time and would like to pay it forward by helping other children.

"The stimulation, happiness and memories that toys provide are very important to the growth of children, and we're helping to put toys into the hands of those who would otherwise have never gotten them."

Please donate a new unwrapped toy, gift card or monetary donation on Thursday December 13th between 6pm-8pm at Tops Supermarket 887 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington, CT.

All toys and donations will be given to The Connecticut Childrens Hospital in Hartford.  Please stop by and see us.
