Tip for the Holidays

cold weather and hydration

Stay Hydrated

Cold weather alone does not increase your caloric needs in any significant way. Without sweat as a cue during cold-weather activities, you can easily dehydrate. If your body misinterprets your thirst as hunger you’ll get dehydrated and eat more calories than you need. Carry a water bottle and sip generously.
