Joseph Renda, of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at home. He was 57.
He was born on June 18, 1956 in Southington, the son of Theresa (Mauro) MacKenzie and the late Nicholas Renda.
Joseph graduated from Southington High School and worked as a landscaper.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter Kimberly Renda, a step-father Donald MacKenzie; three sisters, Linda Cheeseman of Newington, Lucy and husband Robert Sorice of Bristol, Theresa and husband Robert Gambordella of Bethany.
He also leaves step-siblings Kathy Jean and husband Art Meyers of Bristol, Donald and wife Rita MacKenzie and Lori Jo and husband Mark Saucier, all of Southington and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Renda III.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
