St. Stan's Students Clown Around

The Saint Stanislaus School Academy of Math and Science students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 continued their study of balance.

They learned how humans are able to balance on two feet (most animals use four legs to walk) because of the fluid in their inner ear. The students were given a visual to show how the ear works. They also performed activities, such as balancing on one foot.

Later, the students practiced balancing a paper clown that had two pennies taped on its hands as weights. The students learn to balance the clown in the middle of its body.
