According to a police statement, on June 20 "a heavyset white male (approximately 300 pounds, 5 feet 9inches tall), balding with brown hair, wearing a striped polo shirt entered Lenscrafters at Westfarms Mall, selected two pairs of Oakley sunglasses, concealed them into the pocket of his pants and exited the store without paying."

Police say "the suspect has stolen from this Lenscrafters location on two prior occasions (April 9 and April 10, 2014)."

According to oakley.com, the glasses start at $100 a pair with top of the line models priced at $650.
