Domestics, Unregistered Drivers Keep Police Busy

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a fairly busy end of week and weekend for police, officers were kept busy with several domestic cases and a shoplifting case. That didn’t stop then from finding those driving without proper registration, however.

The department issued 14 tickets to those operating without proper registration, according to the department’s Facebook page, as well as citing half a dozen others for using a cell phone while driving.

The reported the following arrests:

Lynette P. Richardson, 24, of 218 Farmington Ave. in Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Feb. 24.

Mark Stevens, 52, of 20 Anthony Drive in Bristol, was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault, Feb. 25.

Brian K. Gorneault, 37, of 106 Loper St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Feb. 25.

Diana Hernandez, 23, of 661 Main St. in Plantsville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Feb. 26.

Carmine Castiglione, 19, of 1086 Old Turnpike Road in Southington, was charged with simple trespassing, Feb. 26.

Guy R. Lyons, 25, of 42 Pearl St. in Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right, Feb. 17.
