Drug, Murder, Domestic Cases Make Busy Week For Police

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

There were a number of arrests reported in the past couple days, so let's get to it and get you caught up.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Renee Mitchell, 43, of 103 Lawncrest Drive in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Feb. 10.

Alexander Derisi, 19, of 56 Sun Valley Drive in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer, Feb. 10.

James Michael D’Auguila, 34, of 50 High St. in New Britain, was charged with murder, felony murder, first-degree robbery and third-degree larceny, Feb. 9.

Phengsavath, Brenda P. Phengsavath, 20, of 86 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with possession of more than a half ounce of marijuana, possession with the intent to sell, possession within 1,500 feet of a school zone, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia, Feb. 10.

Phouthasack Phengsavath, 26, of 86 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of more than four ounces of marijuana within 1,500 feet or a school, possession of marijuana in a school zone with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and cultivating marijuana, Feb. 10.

Anthony Phengsavath, 23, of 86 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with possession of greater than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of greater than four ounces on marijuana while in a school zone, possession of marijuana in a school zone with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, Feb. 10.

Joshua R. Thompson, 22, of 31 Brooklane Road in Southington, was charged with violation of a protective order, operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of marker plates and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, Feb. 15.

David B. Zeidler, 30, of 15 Pearl St. in Terryville, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear, Feb. 14.

Maryellen McGloin, 58, of 18 Center St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to insure a motor vehicle, Feb. 16.

James Allen Smith, 33, of 37 Berkley Ave. in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Feb. 15.
