Fifth-Degree Larceny Charge Logged in Light Day for Police

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a light day, Southington police reported just two motor vehicle infractions and one arrest on Thursday.

Officers took Jessica Mascolo, of 9024 Oakfield Drive in Statesboro, Ga., into custody earlier this week on a warrant stemming from a theft in February. She was arraigned on one charge of fifth-degree larceny in Bristol Superior Court and released after posting a $1,000 court-set bond.

Mascolo, 24, is due back in Bristol Superior Court on Aug. 12.

Messages left with police seeking further comment were not returned Thursday.
