Larceny, DUI Cases Make for a Busy Weekend for Police

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southington police reported the following arrests:

Zachary Haiman, 18, of 61 Denver Place in Waterbury, was charged with driving under the influence, stop sign violation and failure to drive in proper lane, July 21.

Cassandra D’Anna, 21, of 4 Arnold Court in Bristol, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespassing, July 21.

Dwight L. Sturgeon, 45, of 438 S. Main St. in Terryville, was charged with fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to Ct Larceny 5th, Conspiracy to commit Larceny 5th, larceny 6th, Conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, July 21.

Phillip A. Plourde, 32, of 4 Arnold Court in Bristol, was charged with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespassing, July 22.

Joseph Paul Melluzzo, 32, of 1 Sherman Drive in Burlington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, interfering with police, possession of narcotics, possession of a hallucinogenic substance, illegal storage of narcotics and possession of marijuana, July 23.

Richard John Gioia, 40, of 364 Pondview Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment, July 23.

Michael Larosa, 30, of 60 Forshaw Road in Plainville, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to keep to the right, July 24.

Carmelo Fuentes Jr., 32, of 47 Emerald St. in Waterbury, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to obey traffic signal, failure to drive in proper lane and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 24.
