Man Takes Off With $200 in Dunkin' Donuts Robbery

Southington Police are releasing a description of the suspect in hopes that the public can help find him.

Southington Police are looking for a man who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike last night.

According to police, the robbery took place at about 6:16 p.m. A weapon was neither displayed nor implied, police said, and no injuries were reported. The suspect made off with approximately $200, police said.

Police said the suspect is described as a light-skinned male approximately 5'8"-6'0" tall. He is described as Hispanic or Mexican, of stocky build, with a dark mustache and beard, eye glasses clear with no visible rims. He also reportedly has gauge-style earrings. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a small white logo on left sleeve, a white shirt underneath, gray sweat pants with dark lined front pockets, and dark shoes.

Police said the suspect fled on foot across Pratt Street into a parking lot, where he was observed getting into an older model four-door gold or silver Saturn. The suspect was last observed traveling south on Pratt Street to Orchard Lane, according to police.
