Officers Obtain Warrant for Man in TD Bank Robbery

Southington police are looking for assistance in locating Brandon Dlugos, 24, in connection with the Monday evening robbery at TD Bank on the Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike.

The Southington Police Department is looking for a Southington man they said was involved in the robbery of the TD Bank branch on the Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike Monday evening.

The department has obtained a warrant for Brandon Dlugos, 24, and detectives are currently searching for him in connection with the robbery.

Dlugos will face charges of third-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny in the case. He is known to be a regular visitor in the Southington area, police said in a press release Wednesday.

According to court records, Dlugos has been convicted on larceny charges in the past, including a conviction of fourth-degree larceny in Southington back in 2009. He completed probation without issue following the conviction, the court records indicate.

Dlugos is described as a 24-year-old white male, standing 5'9" with slender build and reddish hair.

Other Robberies
Police are . Police are still investigating whether there was any connection to the TD Bank robbery, officers said Wednesday.

On Monday morning, a man with a grey hooded sweatshirt and knit cap entered Farmington Bank in downtown Southington and handed a teller a note demanding cash. No weapon was shown or implied, police said.

Officers are also investigating a Tuesday morning robbery that happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the 7-11 Store on Queen Street. A man entereds the store, police said, and proceeded to demand cash from the store's clerk before escaping on foot across Queen Street.

Both cases remain under investigation.
