A Manchester man made a dramatic exit after being fired from BJ's, allegedly throwing coffee at his boss and picking up a chair to strike him, according to police.

Fired Worker Leaves Quite a Last Impression

The case: Cops charged a Manchester man with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace, police report.

The twist:
The man was charged on March 9 for  Wholesale Club, police said.

Police report that other workers pried the chair away from him before the male supervisor was hit. According to police, the terminated employee also spit at his former boss and used the store's PA system to insult his co-workers.

It's Hard to Find a Good Baby-sitter

The case: Police in Waterford report that they are searching for a man and a woman who took a flat-screen TV and a computer from the local Wal-Mart on Tuesday night.

The twist:
According to police, the couple entered the store with a baby in tow. Police said that the man then broke off to grab the TV and computer, before all three left in a dark-colored mini-van.

Not Your Typical Walk Around the Block

The case: A Durham man was charged with with breach of peace and two counts of possession of narcotics on March 11, according to police.

The twist: 
, and directed the man back home. The accused's mother called 911 to notify the police, they report.

According to police, the accused's mother came home around 8 a.m. and saw her son with a syringe in hand. The arrested man confessed to shooting up five bags of heroin and taking four to five Xanax pills, police said. The accused began to chase his mother after she grabbed a pill bottle from his dresser, police report.

Drinking and Driving Don't Mix

The case: A Cromwell man was charged with drinking while driving and improper hand signaling in Middletown on St. Patrick's Day, according to police.

The twist:
When police stopped the accused for turning without a signal and accelerating at a high speed onto Route 9, .

According to police, the driver told them that he didn't know that it was illegal to drink a beer while driving in Connecticut.

License Plate and Registration, Please

The case: Police charged a Haddam man with evading responsibilty after he crashed his car at Wesleyan University on March 8.

The twist:
After the driver drove into an emergency phone and evaded the scene, police traced the man to his home when they found the car's bumper and license plate left at the scene, police said. The accused said that he fled the scene because he was nervous, according to police.
