Pharmacy Tech Charged in Drug Thefts and Other Arrests

A look at a busy weekend in arrests for the Southington Police Department.

A Newington man is facing charges after police said he allegedly stole hydrocodone pills while working as a pharmaceutical technician at .

Police said Jayson James Wallace, 26, of 83 Main St. in Newington, took the pills earlier this year, but was caught by store security. Practices allowed store officials to detect the thefts before he could take a large amount, police said.

Wallace was charged with possession of narcotics and sixth-degree larceny.

The also reported the following arrests in a busy weekend:

Andrzej Pedziwiatr, 38, of 194 Gold St. in New Britain, was charged with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegally providing alcohol to a minor and third-degree assault, Nov. 18.

Nicki Chadbourne, 26, of 25 Pheasant Run in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, Nov. 18.

Albert R. Lombardo, 61, of 5085 Lakewood Drive in Atlanta, Ga., was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer, Nov. 18.

Thomas W. Schafrick, 42, of 89 Bronson Ave. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Nov. 19.

Eric R. Godard, 30, of 482 Lake Ave. in Bristol, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident and failure to maintain proper lane, Nov. 19.

Juan A. Gonzalez, 50, of 271 Park St. in Bristol, was charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny, Nov. 19.

Gary S. Babon Jr., 21, of 139 Belleview Ave. in Southington, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and interfering with an officer, Nov. 19.

Mistene S. Williams, 18, of 193 Summit St. in Plantsville, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an officer, Nov. 20.
