Police Charge Meriden Man with Drug Sales After Traffic Stop

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A traffic stop on Independence Day led police to discover a number of pre-packaged bags of marijuana that detectives said a 23-year-old Meriden man was planning on selling in town. Although there were several people in the car, only the one was charged in the case, police said.

The reported the following arrests:

Ryan S. Massey, 23, of 24 Trumblebrook Road in Meriden, was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession with the intent to sell, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to insure motor vehicle, July 4.

Dennis Cartier, 22, of 112 Fieldbrook Road in Middletown, was charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order, July 5.

Danielle Deleon, 22, of 30 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order, July 5.
