Original Story
Southington police are investigating the deaths of two individuals found inside a Cedar Drive home Wednesday and sources within the department said the deaths are considered to be "suspicious."

Officers went to the home, located at 27 Cedar Drive in Southington, around 3 p.m. Wednesday after a delivery man reported that a pile of newspapers had been building up outside the front door.

When officers arrived, they found evidence that someone was inside but the home was locked and no one was responding to the front door.

"Officers responded to the scene and found the exterior of the home secure. The Southington Fire Department was summoned to the scene to assist the officers with gaining entry into the home," Southington Police Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz said. "Once entry was gained, the officers found two deceased individuals inside the home."
