Police: Six Cited in Trespassing Incident at Camp Sloper

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Five Southington residents and an East Lyme woman were cited for a simple infraction the Friday before Easter after police said Wednesday that they were involved in trying to create a part on the grounds of Camp Sloper.

Southington residents Daniel O’Connor, Daniel Marut, Christopher Amnott, Adam Niezgorski and Joseph Nardello were each cited, along with East Lyme resident Kaitlyn Young. Police said there was no alcohol on site when the six were found there.

“This is just a simple trespassing case, but we have been cautious in that area because there has been vandalism there in the past,” Sgt. Lowell DePalma said Wednesday.

The also reported the following arrests:

Ward A. King, 44, of 105 N. Main St. in Southington, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear, April 10.

Donald J. Comeau, 21, of 45 Round Hill Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, April 10.

Suleman A. Dole, 20, of 320 East St. in Plainville, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Claudio Ingriselli, 52, of 111 N. Summit St. in Southington, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, April 9.

Theresa Sic, 57, of 26 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, April 9.
