Pond Road Man Arrested for Second Time in a Week

Police said Randall Scott Mongillo became aggressive in a "domestic dispute" related to an earlier arrest for ATM fraud.

Randall Scott Mongillo is facing charges for the second time in a week, this time related to a domestic dispute that started over an earlier arrest for ATM fraud, Southington police said.

Mongillo, 51, of 2 Pond Road, was taken into custody Tuesday on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $500 court-set bond, police said.

Officers at his Jensen’s Trailer Park home after he allegedly used the stolen ATM card to withdraw money on four occasions in March and April, police said on Monday.

The victim had met Mongillo at and the investigation led to charges including four counts of sixth-degree larceny and four counts of automated teller fraud.

Mongillo told officers he had used the card, but not without permission.

The also reported the following arrests:

Erik S. Martin, 22, of 62 Lower Fish Rock in Southbury, was charged with driving under the influence and traveling too fast, May 21.

Orzsio Valletta, 50, of 89 Alexander Ave. in Waterbury, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, May 22.
