[Updated] PD Releases Names of CO Poisoning Victims

According to the police, a man found unconscious in the basement of his home took his own life.

11 a.m. Update:

Southington Police have released the name of the man who died in a carbon monoxide poisoning incident on Friday.

Police said Gordon Rowe, 43, of 445 Copper Ridge in Southington, committed suicide via carbon monoxide poisoning.

The female victim, who was treated and released from the hospital, was identified as Nichole Wislowski, 42, of the same address.

A man who was last Friday committed suicide, NBC Connecticut reported on its website Monday.

According to the report, the Office of the Chief State's Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide, and the condition of a woman also found unconscious has improved.

Police have not released the identities of the victims.
