Seven Cited Following Discovery of Underage Drinking Party

Police said the seven girls, ages 18 - 20, were having a party. The charges were just some of the several reported in the latest Southington police blotter.

Seven Southington residents, including five teenagers, are facing citations after police interrupted an underage party last week and found the residents, all girls, drinking together.

According to police reports, officers were alerted to a potential underage party involving drinking and arrived to hear music and other noise. When officers entered, they found several bottles and were able to issue citations in the case.

The incident occurred just before midnight on July 15. Police said the girls were all cooperative and the situation was addressed without further incident.

The following were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor:

Katrina Aberizk, 20, of 27 Hunting Hills Drive in Southington.
Jennifer Lange, 19, of 124 Thistle Lane in Southington.
Kimberly Demarino, 20, of 81 N. Stonegate Road in Southington.
Emily Byrnes, 18, of 334 Crest Road in Southington.
Kristen B. Milano, 18, of 32 Darling St. in Southington.
Hanna V. Jacques, 19, of 374 Crest Road in Southington.
Emily Ferens, 19, of 333 Pilgrim Lane in Southington.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

July 16

Sherril Seavey, 48, of 159 Fleetwood Road in Plantsville, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, July 16. 

July 18

Tonia Lisatinski, 30, of 226 Edgewood Circle in Southington, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, July 18.

Dean DiDomizio, 44, of 248 Congress Ave. in Waterbury, was charged with misuse of plates, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 18.

July 19

Phillip J. Sullivan, 50, of 980 S. Main St. in Plantsville, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 19.

Mary J. Davis, 50, of 313 Center St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 19.

Stephanie Harriott, 21, of 75 Oak St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 19.

July 20

Robert F. Liedke, 35, of 4 Promontory Drive in Cheshire, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to yield right of way while making a left turn, July 20.

July 21

Rico Cassanova, 48, of 6 Carter Lane in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 21.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Thirty (30) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Six people were cited with simple trespassing.
  • Five people were cited with seatbelt violations.
  • Four people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
  • Three people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
  • Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • Two people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
