Sign of Accident Lead Police to Multiple Motor Vehicle Violations

Police charged a Massachusetts man with multiple vehicle violations after they said his car showed signs of an accident.

A Massachusetts man is facing numerous motor vehicle violations after police said he was driving a car that had apparently been in an accident.

Officers pulled over David R. Vergara, 27, Sunday night after he was spotted driving down North Main Street with a car that had a broken drivers-side rear view mirror and broken headlight.

Vegrara, of 188 Cherokee Drive in Springfield, Mass., was charged with improper number of headlights, misuse of plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to insure motor vehicle.

The also reported the following arrests:

Joseph Crapo, 26, of 412 Lazy Lane in Southington, was charged with second-degree harassment, Sept. 18.

Loni Bouchard, 20, of 133 West Main St. in Clinton, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, Sept. 19.
