Original Story
Southington firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze at a structure on Spring Hill Road.

Several engines are on scene, coordinating the attack, and working to extinguish a garage fire, which is reportedly being fueled by gas from two vehicles inside.

The fire has also spread into the kitchen, according to information transmitted over the scanner. The fire in the kitchen has been knocked down, and firefighters are looking to make sure it has not spread inside the walls on that floor and the second floor.

Information about the status of the occupants, and an exact address, was not immediately available.
