Southington Man Arrested After Breaking Into Mom's House, Police Said

Police said the 30-year-old Liberty Street man broke into his mother's home in anger after she kicked him out.

A Southington man is facing multiple charges after police said he broke into his mother’s home in anger after she had kicked him out of the house.

Police said Brian Cochran, 30, of 148 Liberty St. in Southington, was taken into custody Tuesday on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespassing and two counts of violation of a protective order.

The case is considered a domestic, police said.

The also reported the following arrests:

Marc D. Matthews, 21, of 192 Village St. in Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain proper lane, Aug. 23.

Lawrence J. Petrocelli III, 19, of 104 Wilcox Ave. in Meriden, was charged with criminal attempt first-degree sexual assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace and tampering with a witness, Aug. 23.

Anthony D. Angelone, 24, of 215 Old Turnpike Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation, Aug. 23.

Randall S. Dougan, 53, of 44 Foxcroft Court in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Aug. 23.
