Southington Man Charged in Lotto Ticket Thefts

Police said Eric Davis Jr. took $700 worth of lottery tickets from an employer and tried to cash in on $300 in winnings.

A Southington man is facing charges after police said he stole $700 worth of lottery tickets from an employer and attempted to cash those tickets back in for $300 in winnings.

Officers served a warrant on Friday, taking Eric S. Davis Jr., of 57 River St. in Southington, into custody on one charge of fifth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is due in Bristol Superior Court for arraignment on Sept. 19.

Andrew J. Oricchio, 19, of 104 Richard Ave. in Wolcott, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 6.

Brandon R. Beebe, 19, of 175 Old Mountain Road in Marion, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 8.

Cote J. Nadeau, 19, of 1588 West St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 8.

Stephen A. Uryga, 53, of 42 Victoria Drive in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 9.

Thomas P. McKay, 19, of 1188 Mt. Vernon Road in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 9.

Ryan M. Haddock, 21, of 16 Whitney Ave. in Southington was charged with driving under the influence and having an improper number of headlights, Sept. 10.

Alexander S. Bradley, 29, of 19 Mountain View Drive in East Harford, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain proper lane and following too close, Sept. 10.

Matthew K. Hyde, 22, of 103 Kingswood Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Sept. 10.

Crystal Chadwick, 31, of 172 Glen St. in New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 10.
