Southington Police Blotter: 16 Cited in Underage Drinking Party Bust
The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
In a busy weekend for police, officer busted a drinking party that led to two arrests and led to 16 citations being given to those over 18-years-old, as well as a few minors. In addition, police also arrested seven others and issued numerous other citations for motor vehicle infractions.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
April 5
Ryan A. Yashenko, 23, of 5 Hull Drive in Plantsville, was charged with driving under the influence, April 5.
April 6
James C. Cass, 31, of 394 Steele St. in New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, April 6.
April 7
Lynn Nappe, 48, of 114 Bristol St. in Southington, was charged with reckless driving and following too close with the intent to harass, April 7.
Donald Rinaldi, 18, of 81 Sunnybrook Hill Road in Southington, was charged with interfering with an officer and possession of alcohol by a minor, April 7.
Ryan Dupuis, 18 of 55 Mariondale Drive in Southington, was charged with interfering with an officer, illegal distribution of alcohol to minors, permitting a minor to possess alcohol and possession of alcohol by a minor, April 7.
April 8
Richard J. Ziel, 43, of 199 Nancy Road in New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, April 8.
Becky S. Kiefer, 34, of 108 Stearns St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, April 8.
Christa L. Bradley, 45, of 1845 Meriden-Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, April 8.
Ana Aquino, 18, of 550 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, April 8.
The following area residents were each charged with possession of alcohol by a minor after police disrupted an underage drinking party on Saturday night:
- Hanna V. Jacques, 18, of 374 Crest Road in Southington.
- Alexandra LaPorte, 19, of 50 Silo Drive in Plantsville.
- Ashlynn Daley, 19, of 31 Garden Terrace in Forestville.
- Renee Burdon, 18, of 45 Tanya Court in Southington.
- Jonathan Garvey, 19, of 350 Northstar Drive in Southington.
- Toby L. Meyer, 19, of 59 Minthal Drive in Southington.
- Bethany Robertson, 19, of 8 Barbara Lane in Southington.
- Pamela Murphy, 19, of 550 Darling St. in Southington.
- Tanner A. Aszklar, 20, of 18 Crissey Lane in Southington.
- Brandon Lariviere, 19, of 37 Page Farm Road in Plantsville.
- Tyler Moss, 20, of 105 Roxbury Road in Plantsville.
- Franco Pabst, 20, of 6 Yorktown Road in Southington.
- Dean Freer, 20, of 298 Deerbrooke Circle in Southington.
- Michael Garcia, 20, of 69 Hitchcock Road in Southington.
- Sean C. Hammell, 18, of 12 Hazelwood Drive in Southington.
- Amanda Crawford, 18, of 160 Deer Run in Plantsville.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Six people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- Three people were cited with speeding/traveling unreasonably fast.
- One person was cited with following too close.
- One person was cited with1 failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
- One person was cited with failure to renew license.
- One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
- One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
