Southington Police Blotter: 24 Nabbed in Click-It or Ticket Effort

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Click-It or Ticket campaign is now in full swing and for 20 people on Tuesday afternoon and 24 in the past two days, it has meant paying the price for not buckling the belt. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

May 24

Veronica Lynn Rodriguez, 26, of 29 Chestnut St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, May 24.

May 25

Zachary Morrison, 19, of 121 Alder Lane in Southington was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane, May 25.

Faton Musliu, 23, of 29 Cheryl Jane Drive in Waterbury, was charged with failure to obey traffic signal and misuse of registration, May 25.

Vincent Amicone, 69, of 81 Buena Vista Ave. in Torrington, was charged with hindering an emergency call, assault of emergency personnel and evading responsibility, May 25.

May 26

Stanley A. McClellan, 21, of 48 Winchester St. in Waterbury, was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and criminal impersonation, May 26.

Sue Baumann, 43, of 41 Windermere Ridge in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 26.

Michael A. Beradi, 50, of 500 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in proper lane, May 26.

Wallace Eben Aldieri, 53, of no given address, was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, May 26.

May 28

Alex N. Nevrivy, 18, of 44 Beverly Drive in Southington, was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, May 28.

Stanley Uryga, 55, of 42 Victoria Drive in Southington, was charged with violation of a protective order, May 28.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Twenty-four (24) people were cited with failure to wear a seatbelt.
  • Five people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Three people were cited with driving with suspended registration.
  • Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Two people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • Two people were cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
  • One person was cited with failure to yield right of way.
  • One person was cited with improper backing.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive in proper lane.
  • One person was cited with improper number of headlights.
