Southington Police Blotter: Accidents, Thefts and Assault Reported in Busy Week

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Evading responsibility, larcenies, assaults, trespassing...it's been a busy week for the Southington Police Department. Take a look back at the latest police blotter.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Nov. 28


Gaetan M. Rocamora, 53, of 86 Fox Hill Drive in Rocky Hill, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, Nov. 28.

Dec. 11


Ronald E. Wentworth III, 33, of 50 Cardinal Lane in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident and failure to maintain proper lane, Dec. 11.

Dec. 13


George P. Griffis, 40, of 46 George St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Dec. 13.

Robert E. Wakefield III, 46, of 259 E. Main St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Dec. 13.

Natalie Volpe, 27, of 55 Brothers Way in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Dec. 13.

Dec. 14


Audrine S. Ellard, 23, of 11 Park St. in Plainville, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, Dec. 14.

Gregory Brown, 24, of 11 Dwight St. in New Britain, was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, Dec. 14.

Dec. 16


Gordon W. Gage, 53, of 99 Skilton Road in Watertown, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of marker plates and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, Dec. 16.

Robert McMillan, 23, of 295 Elm St. in West Haven, was charged with three counts of violation of a protective order, Dec. 16.

Joel Marquis, 68, of 44 Berlin St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, Dec. 16.

Dec. 17


Pavlo Vynar, 21, of 179 Wonx Spring Road in Plantsville, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, Dec. 17.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Ten (10) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with using a cell phone/mobile device while driving.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with failure to carry license.
  • Two people were cited with failure to drive right/maintain proper lane.
  • One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with disobeying the signal of an officer.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with failure to remove snow from motor vehicle.
