Southington Police Blotter: Aggressive Assault Ends in Arrest

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police have arrested a Round Hill Road resident following a series of incidents that ended with an attack in what is being described as a "domestic case," Southington police said.

Officers took Jared Plantamuro into custody late last week following an incident near his home. Plantamuro is facing multiple charges including second-degree assault after using an object in a physical confrontation, police said.

Further details were not immediately available.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

Nov. 2


Jared Plantamuro, 32, of 35 Round Hill Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree threatening, interfering with an officer, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace, Nov. 2.

Reynaldo Molina, 27, of 51 Round Hill Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Nov. 2.

Nov. 3

Justin M. Delbuono, 25, of 60 Merrell Ave. in Southington, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Nov. 3.
