Southington Police Blotter: Arrests Made Following Accident, DUI Cases

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a relatively light, but steady weekend kept police busy with numerous cases including DUI and evading responsibility arrests. Take a look back at the latest arrests.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

Dec. 5

Antone S. Marciano, 35, of 167 Judson Ave. in Bristol, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Dec. 5.

David A. Forgione Sr., 55, of 676 Mulberry St. in Plantsville, was charged with violation of probation, Dec. 5.

Dec. 6

Brandon S. Mals, 21, of 22 Hotchkiss Drive in Bristol, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to maintain proper lane, Dec. 6.

Junior Elix Nichols, 19, of 71 Hemlock Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Dec. 6.

Dec. 7

Michael Luponio, 24, of Divinity St. in Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain proper lane, Dec. 7.

Dec. 8

Michael J. Serra, 24, of 20 Strawberry Lane in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Dec. 8.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
  • One person was cited with failure to wear seat belt.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
