Southington Police Blotter: Assaults, Thefts and Drug Charges

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a lighter end of the week for police, officers reported an assortment of arrests that included charges on larceny, drug possession, assault and failure to appear offenses. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:


Sept. 10

Melody A. Latti, 27, of 2660 Berlin Turnpike in Newington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance, Sept. 10.

Sept. 12

Jennifer A. Dauphin, 27, of 357 Brittany Farms Road in New Britain, was charged with third-degree larceny, Sept. 12.

Maddalena Parillo, 57, of 227 Berlin Ave. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 12.

Kevin Butler, 56, of 623 Marion Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Sept. 12.

Jessica Ruszkowski, 28, of 803 Grassy Hill Road in Orange, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, Sept. 12.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

Four people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
One person was cited with making an improper turn.
One person was cited with passing in a no passing zone.
One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
