Southington Police Blotter: Aug. 20 - Aug. 21

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The mid-week arrest logs included just five arrests this week, but police remained busy with several larceny cases and a drug investigation that led to the discovery of more than 2.5 pounds of marijuana at a Queen Street home.

The reported the following arrests:

Aug. 20

Tyler D. French, 23, last known address of 73 Todd Road in Southington, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny, third-degree larceny and third-degree forgery, Aug. 20.


Martin R. McCulloch, 18, of 1048 S. Main St. in Plantsville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Aug. 20.

Aug. 21

Thomas O’Leary, 25, of 615 West St. in Southington, was charged with breach of peace and second-degree assault, Aug. 21.

Michael J. Caron, 34, of 372 Mill St. in Southington, was charged with violation of probation and fourth-degree larceny, Aug. 21.

Nicholas Meister, 34, of 285 Queen St. in Southington, was charged with three counts of sale of marijuana, possession of more than a kilogram of marijuana with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, Aug. 21.
