Southington Police Blotter: Aug. 9 - Aug. 12

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The first set of arrest logs this week from the Southington Police Department send a very clear message: if you drive drunk, you will get caught.

Officers arrested three area residents on driving under the influence charges, according to the logs, and reinforced the message often seen in the state police public service announcement. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The reported the following arrests:

Aug. 9

Joseph A. Furnari, 43, of 170 Pleasantview Ave, in Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence, Aug. 9.

Aug. 10

Allen Johnson-Keutmann, 33, of 19 Bittersweet Lane in Burlington, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and making an improper entry onto the highway, Aug. 10.

Aug. 12

David Farrell, 49, of 5 Pond St. in Seymour, was charged with misuse of marker plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving under the influence and failure to insure motor vehicle, Aug. 12.

Phillip J. Sullivan, 49, of 980 S. Main St., was charged with disorderly conduct, Aug. 12.
