Southington Police Blotter: Breach of Peace, Probation Violations and Citations

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

There were a quieter set of logs on Wednesday and Thursday with police reporting just three arrests, two coming from breach of peace or domestic cases and another from a motor vehicle stop. There were a number of citations issued, however. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

May 29

Robert Kohl, 29, of 85 Wilbur St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, May 29.

June 2

Juan Villegas, 24, of 1873 N. Main St. in Waterbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, misuse of marker plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to have child in proper restraints, June 2.

June 4

Steven A. Fernandez, 52, of 152 Southshire Drive in Southington, was charged with violation of probation and violation of a protective order, June 4.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • One person was cited with seatbelt violations.
  • One person was cited with failure to carry a license.
