Southington Police Blotter: Burglaries, Larcenies, DUIs

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy week for police, officers reported many arrests including burglaries, larcenies, DUIs and more. Take a look back at the latest arrests.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Oct. 8
 
Luz E. Arizmendt, 22, of 98 Highland Ave. in Bridgeport, was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny, Oct. 8.

Deidre Ragsdale, 31, of 224 Tanglewood Road in Trumball, was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny, Oct. 8.

Oct. 9

Brandon Monteleone, 19, of 60 Blossom Way in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident and interfering with an officer, Oct. 9.

Oct. 10

John Miller, 50, of 57 Washington St. in Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, Oct. 10.

Patricia Becker, 64, of 103 Ashwell Drive in Plantsville, was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, Oct. 10.

Sergio Martinez, 66, of 54 Wonx Spring Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Oct. 10.

Matthew M. Marcuccio, 24, of 10 Oxbow Lane in Guilford, was charged with violating conditions of discharge, Oct. 10.

Oct. 11

Jesse R. Nealon, 38, of 68 Walnut St. in Southington, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, Oct. 11.

Oct. 14

Dean T. Freer, 21, of 298 Deerbrooke Circle in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Oct. 14.

Amanda R. Crawford, 18, of 160 Deer Run in Southington, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, Oct. 14.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Eight people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Four people were cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • Three people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Two people were cited with following too close/unsafe backing.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
  • Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive in proper lane.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with failure to wear seat belt.
  • One person was cited with driving a vehicle with a defective muffler.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive in proper lane.
  • One person was cited with simple trespassing.
