Southington Police Blotter: Dec. 25 - Dec. 29

Police have been busy over the past week, citing multiple drivers for various violations including 12 for operating unregistered motor vehicles, as well as responding to several domestic incidents and making arrests in DUI cases. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Dec. 25

Joseph A. Arisco, 62, of 165 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to stop at a stop sign, Dec. 25.

Dec. 27

Alan Caron Jr., 18, of 654 Norton Road in Berlin, was charged with disorderly conduct, Dec. 27.

Dec. 28

Gary S. Sexton, 64, of 84 Parkview Drive in Plantsville, was charged with failure to drive right, driving under the influence and evading responsibility in an accident, Dec. 28.

Dec. 29

Alexander J. Arroyo, 21, of 48 Craftwood Road in Waterbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and threatening, Dec. 29.

Cynthia Torres, 34, of 57 Eden Ave. in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Dec. 29.

Clinton D. Jackman, 40, of 57 Eden Ave. in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Dec. 29.

  • Twelve (12) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
  • One person was cited with making an improper left turn.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey a stop sign/control signal.
