Southington Police Blotter: Domestics, Drug Cases Keep Police Busy

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Florida man was charged with multiple counts of sale of narcotics, stemming from an investigation done over several months, according to Southington police - but that was just one of nine arrests and multiple citations issued over the weekend. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

May 3


Wayne R. Cooke, 53, of 30 Christian Lane in New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, May 3.

Geremia Chaparro, 34, of 109 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of a restraining order, second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and two counts of interfering with an officer, May 3.

Javier Vasquez, 31, of 453 Allen St. in New Britain, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, May 3.

May 5

Holly A. Nardi, 27, of 453 South End Road in Southington, was charged with breach of peace, May 5.

Bryan G. Joyce, 27, of 168 Royal Oak Drive in Southington, was charged with breach of peace, May 5.

Fabian Chandler, 33, of 10733 Clearly Boulevard in Plantation, Fla., was charged with four counts of sale of narcotics and four counts of possession of narcotics, May 5.

Stanley Uryga, 55, of 42 Victoria Drive in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order, May 5.

Stephen Uryga, 55, of 42 Victoria Drive in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, May 5.

Margaret Carmichael-Garry, 52, of 330 Stonegate Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, May 5.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Twelve (12) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with improper tires.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive in proper lane.
  • One person was cited with creating a public disturbance.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
