Southington Police Blotter: Don't Go Taking Cars That Aren't Yours!

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Southington woman is facing charges after making threats in a heated verbal argument and a 19-year-old is facing charges after taking a motor vehicle without permission in a lighter day for police. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

Nov. 4


Cynthia Basile, 54, of 1563 Meriden-Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening, Nov. 4.

Martin McCulloch, 19, of 1048 S. Main St. in Southington, was charged with use of a motor vehicle without permission and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, Nov. 4.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Two people were cited with simple trespassing.
  • One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
  • One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
