Southington Police Blotter: Drunk Drivers and Domestic Cases

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southington police reported a busy weekend with lots of activity including the arrests of several alleged drunk drivers, as well as others involved in domestic disputes. Police also issued numerous citations including 10 for unregistered motor vehicles. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

May 10


Kelly Boxley, 30, of 28 Gilbert St. in New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, May 10.

Shannon L. Fry, 40, of 55 Ivy Drive in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility in an accident, failure to maintain proper lane and using a cell phone while driving, May 10.

Kasidee Drivdahl, 19, of 63 Cambridge Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, May 10.

May 11

Kayla M. Sima, 24, of 844 Mt. Vernon Road in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and traveling too fast, May 11.

May 12

Brian S. Palmere, 23, of 35 Buckley Ave. in Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault, May 12.

Jeffrey A. Bell, 26, of 119 Oak St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, May 12.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Ten (10) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Four people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Two people were cited with creating a public disturbance.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with failure to have tail lights lit.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey traffic signal.
  • One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
  • One person was cited with a seat belt violation.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive right.
  • One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • One person was cited with driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with failure to pull over for an emergency vehicle.
