Southington Police Blotter: DUI with Injuries, Larceny

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police found themselves responding to several cases over the past couple days, including a DUI accident on Meriden Avenue that injured two children. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:


Sept. 5

Margaret M. Sokolowski, 37, of 45 Janet Drive in New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 5.

Sept. 9

Nilda Diaz, 37, of 17 Carter St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Sept. 9.

Sept. 10

Rafly Santiago, 24, of 169 Grove St. in Meriden, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, interfering with an officer, driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, failure to maintain proper lane and second-degree failure to appear, Sept. 10.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

Four people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
One person was cited with failure to carry a license.
