Southington Police Blotter: Jan. 28

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old Naugatuck man after police said they discovered that he was in possession of drugs during a traffic stop on Jan. 17.

Marc Anthony Pereira, of 339 N. Main St. in Naugatuck, was arrested on two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession within 1,500 feet of a school zone and one charge each of possession with intent to sell, interfering with police, failure to display two plates and failure to light rear plate, Jan. 17.

The also reported the following arrests:

Greg Lynt, 35, of 150 West Main St. in Plainville, was cited with evading responsibility, Jan. 28.

Michael P. Puleo, 21, of 43 Brothers Way in Southington, was arrested on charges of filing false statement and second-degree reporting a false incident, Jan. 28. (Court deposition completed, charges dropped.)
