Southington Police Blotter: Jan. 30 - Feb. 5

It was a lighter day in the arrest logs for Southington police as the department reported just two arrests and seven citations. Officers issued a misdemeanor summons for an accident at the end of January and arrested a New Britain man on domestic-related charges. Take a look at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Jan. 30

William D. Queen, 73, of 99 Birchcrest Drive in Southington, was charged with failure to maintain proper lane and evading responsibility in an accident, Jan. 30.

Feb. 5

Thomas Sanchez, 24, of 349 Chestnut St. in New Britain, was charged with violation of a protective order, second-degree harassment and second-degree breach of peace, Feb. 5.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
