Southington Police Blotter: July 24, Aug. 1 - Aug. 3

The following information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southington police reported a busy weekend that included a mix of criminal cases and motor vehicle violations, including an incident that took place on Aug. 1 in which officers said two local residents stole a laptop computer and assault rifle from a Doe Meadow Drive home. Take a look back at the arrest logs.

The reported the following arrests:

July 24

Joseph J. Curran, 66, of 326 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with four counts of issuing a bad check, July 24.

Aug. 1

Hussein H. Darwish, 32, of 154 Emmett St. in Bristol, was charged with speeding and driving under the influence, Aug. 1.

Aug. 2

Sara Siarkowsi, 21, of 147 West St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and stealing a firearm, Aug. 2.

Justin Daigle, 24, of 12 Regency Court in Southington, was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, theft of a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm, Aug. 2.

Aug. 3

Justine Boynton, 32, of 581 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, Aug. 3.

Michael Anthony Purificato, 53, of 113 Park Ave. in Hamden, was charged with second-degree threatening, Aug. 3.
