Southington Police Blotter: Laptop Theft Lands Southington Man Behind Bars

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Southington man arrested earlier this month in connection with a car burglary is facing charges again, this time stemming from the theft of a laptop taken out of a friend’s home. That’s just one of the charges police have filed in recent days, however. Take a look back at the latest arrests.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

July 19


Ryan Garry, 19, of 33 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to maintain proper lane, July 19.

July 20

Nilda Diaz, 37, of 447 Broad St. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, July 20.

July 22

Marcin J. Wiacek, 36, of 279 High St. in New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, July 22.

Brendan Bartkus-Chevrier, 19, of 40 Germania St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 22.

Saxxon Mackiewicz, 22, of 146 Plum Orchard Road in Southington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of marker plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 22.

July 23

Christopher Caldarola, 46, of 47 Moss Ave. in Seymour, was charged with third-degree larceny, July 23.

Justin Sieracki, 21, of 111 N. Summit St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 23.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Three people were cited with simple trespassing.
  • Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
