Police found themselves busy over the last several days, serving arrests in cases which involved an ongoing string of burglaries in Southington as well as an ongoing credit theft case. Officers were also busy on the roads, issuing 17 citations. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
March 5
Glenn L. Reid, 50, of 205-22 114 Road in Hollis, N.Y., was charged with first-degree identity theft, credit card fraud and second-degree larceny, March 5.
Brandon Dlugos, 25, of 333 Sun Valley Drive in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, March 5.

March 6
William M. Rivera, 36, of 315 Burritt St. in New Britain, was charged with ten counts of third-degree burglary, seven counts of sixth-degree larceny, nine counts of third-degree criminal mischief, ten counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, seven counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and nine counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief, March 6.
March 7
Samantha Hickey, 19, of 957 Old Northfield Road in Thomaston, was charged with simple trespassing, March 7.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Seven people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
- Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
- One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
- One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with failure to drive in proper lane.
- One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
- One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
- One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
