Southington Police Blotter: Oct. 19 - Oct. 21

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southington police were busy over the weekend, issuing a variety of citations and responding to larceny, domestic and DUI cases including one that led officers to make an arrest on two counts of second-degree assault with a motor vehicle. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Oct. 15

Jessica Blanchette, 37, of 18 Hull Drive in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Oct. 15.

Oct. 19

Alec J. Ulrych, 21, of 57 Highwood Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and failure to respond to an infraction, Oct. 19.

Oct. 20

Theodore A. Grabowski Jr., 62, of 1376 West St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to maintain proper lane, Oct. 20.

Oct. 21

Gilbert A. Emond V, 30, of 86 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Oct. 21.

Laura Slade, 21, of 150 Burritt St. in Plantsville, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right and two counts of second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, Oct. 21.

  • Four people were cited with simple trespassing.
  • Three people were cited with failure to maintain proper lane/failure to negotiate a curve.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Two people were cited with failure to renew license/failure to carry a license.
  • One person was charged with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with cell phone violation.
