Southington Police Blotter: Accident, Burglary Cases End in Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officers found themselves busy on Monday as arrests were made in several pending cases when detectives served warrants throughout the community, including one of a Southington teenager charged in connection with a police chase and accident on April 6. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

April 29


Meghan M. Cunningham, 24, of 159 Delaware Ave. in Delmar, N.Y., was charged with sixth-degree larceny, April 29.

Alex N. Nevrivy, 18, of 44 Beverly Drive in Southington, was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to obey a stop sign, engaging police in a pursuit, failure to drive in proper lane, unsafe passing, first-degree reckless endangerment and interfering with an officer, April 29.

Juan M. Cruz, 24, of 187 Maple St. in Bristol, was charged with two counts of failure to respond to an infraction, April 29.

Travis Jay Rose, 48, of 14 Country Club Road in New Britain, was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespassing, second-degree breach of peace, interfering with an emergency call, second degree threatening, disorderly conduct, sixth-degree larceny, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, April 29. 

Ryan Haddock, 23, of 38 Rourke Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, April 29.

April 30

Christina M. Morant, 25, of 7 Casner Drive in Berlin, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, April 30.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Three people were cited with unregistered motor vehicles.
  • One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with allowing a dog to create a nuisance.
