Southington Police Blotter: Reckless Endangerment and Suspicion of DUI
The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Bristol man is facing charges after police said he became verbally combative and refused to work with officers after being stopped on suspicion of a DUI, while two others are also facing charges in the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
March 31
Weverson Lopes, 35, of 121 Berlin Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment, March 31.
April 1
Kista Lenani, 42, of 61 Merrell Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, April 1.
Arthur J. Valentine, 55, of 45 Allen St. in Bristol, was charged with traveling too fast for conditions, failure to submit to an alcohol test, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, failure to return license after suspension and interfering with an officer, April 1.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- 5 operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- 2 speeding/traveling too fast.
- 1 driving with improper attachments.
- 1 following too close.
