Southington Police Blotter: Sept. 5, Sept. 8

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A look into the weekend arrest logs provides residents with a clear message in regard to motor vehicle safety: if you choose to drive without your seatbelt fastened, be prepared to get a ticket.

The first log of the week proved light in arrests overall, with just three to report in all including two domestic cases and a DUI. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The reported the following arrests:

Sept. 5

Labinot Pergjoni, 23, of 834 S. Main St. in Plantsville, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening, Sept. 5.

Besnik Fera, 23, of 93 Scott Swamp Road in Farmington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Sept. 5.

Sept. 8

Stedson Dawkins, 34, of 17 Stonegate Road in New Britain, was charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility in an accident, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to obey traffic signal, Sept. 8.
