Southington Police Blotter: Sept. 6 - Sept. 9

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southington police reported just a few arrests on Wednesday and both incidents took place over the weekend. In one case, officers responded to a shoplifting incident and the second involved a New York man who was arrested after a domestic case involving unsafe driving, police said. The reported the following arrests:

Sept. 6

Vasillios Karsaliakos, 36, of 5 Stafford Road in Burlington, was charged with traveling too fast, misuse of marker plates, failure to insure motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, Sept. 6.

Sept. 7

Braulio F. Mendez, 33, of 7 Pearl St. in Plainville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 7.

Sept. 9

Raul P. Lugo, 45, of 662 Rosedale Ave. in Bronx, N.Y., was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving, Sept. 9.
